Howth is a small, yet active, fishing village on the northside of Dublin. I’m constantly bowled over by the beauty of Howth every time I visit it.

Monday, January 7th, 2008I spent longer than I planned in Dungarvan, Co Waterford, over the Christmas period. The weather was the main reason. It was freezing, very windy but, thankfully, no snow! There were too many opportunities for photographs.
This photograph was one of the first photos I took in 2008. It was taken on a bridge near Ballinroad, Co Waterford. You can just about make out the clubhouse of the Dungarvan Gold Club and, in the background, the Comeragh Mountains.
