The aftermath

It’s being a long, but enjoyable, weekend as Peoples Photography closes. There were some fantastic photographs on show and the banter between fellow photographers and ‘the punters’ was great craic. My most popular photograph was a dawn photograph of Linda Brunker’s Voyager sculpture in Laytown, Co Meath. Below is the sculpture but not the actual photograph (which is not available on the internet at the moment).

It was sorta funny because several people had read about Antony Gormley’s proposed new commission for Dublin Docklands and thought I had taken the first photograph of it. Sadly, I had to dispel that notion and tell the truth that it was lowly Laytown where my photograph originated.
